Elite Disability Support Services (EDSS) provides tailored Community Participation support to NDIS participants across Fraser Rise and Melbourne’s western suburbs. Our goal is to help individuals with disabilities build confidence, social skills, and independence through active involvement in their community.
What Is Supported Independent Living (SIL)?
Supported Independent Living is an NDIS-funded support that helps participants with daily living tasks so they can live as independently as possible. At EDSS, our experienced team provides assistance with cooking, cleaning, personal care, and community access while promoting choice, confidence, and empowerment in everyday life.
What We Offer – Supported Independent Living (SIL)
EDSS provides personalised SIL support to help you live independently, manage daily activities, and participate in community and social life. Our services are designed to build confidence, life skills, and meaningful connections through NDIS-funded SIL programs.
EDSS assists SIL participants with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care, helping them gain independence and confidence in their home environment.
Through our SIL services, participants are supported to attend local events, social gatherings, and community activities, fostering connections and improving social confidence.
EDSS SIL programs provide skill-building opportunities to enhance personal independence, including money management, cooking, self-care routines, and problem-solving in daily life.
SIL participants can participate in recreational, educational, and cultural programs with guidance from EDSS. This includes attending classes, workshops, fitness activities, and cultural events to enrich daily life and independence.
All SIL support is tailored to your NDIS plan and personal goals. EDSS ensures support is delivered in a way that builds independence, confidence, and life skills aligned with each participant’s preferences.
